Candid Family Photography at Sunset in the Manawatu
This time it was extra special getting to photograph my brother, his wife, and their three gorgeous kids during a sunset session in the Manawatu, right where my brother and our sisters played as kids! We wandered through a few different spots, chasing that golden light and soaking up the late-summer warmth. Each location gave us something new—open fields, winding tracks, and pockets of long grass perfect for the kids to explore.
The children were completely in their element - making the most of being outdoors together. These are the little moments I love to capture: honest, and full of the kind of energy that defines childhood. The final collection reflects their family beautifully—candid, connected, and overflowing with love. Every image feels like a slice of summer in the Manawatu and a reminder of how special it is to have these moments documented.
