A Creative Marquee Wedding workshop at Glendower Station Homestead — Wairarapa

The Wairarapa really showed off for this one — an epic wedding workshop hosted by David Le for Sony Scene. There’s something so special about seeing talented creatives and photographers come together, each bringing their own ideas and energy to create something beautiful (and very pinch-me to photograph!). So many colours - what a treat!

Set at Glendower Station Homestead, the overall look was elevated from the start thanks to George and Co Events with their styling, coordination, and marquee — elegant, layered, and full of texture. From the furniture and tablescape details through to the paper goods, everything felt thoughtfully curated into a modern take on a Wairarapa homestead celebration.

The florals were a standout — Purple Dahlia Floral Design created lush locally grown florals and statement installations that felt romantic and perfectly grounded in the landscape. The gorgeous models looked incredible too, with Dress to Impress supplying outfits that photographed beautifully, and the finishing touches came together with Paper Darling on stationery and signage.

Days like this remind me why I love what I do — it’s not just the images, it’s the people, the teamwork, and that shared creative buzz that brings it all to life!  I LOVE photography road trips! Its aways fun to get out to other destinations!
