Engagement Photography with Country Views, Totara Reserve, Pohangina Valley, Manatawatu
I recently had the pleasure of photographing Danielle and Jason in the Pohangina Valley, just outside Ashhurst, near Palmerston North in the Manawatū. With their loyal pup Buster in tow and Jason’s signature cowboy hat, the session had a relaxed, down-to-earth feel — just like them. We wandered through the hills and took in the stunning countryside views from the hilltops, which made for an epic backdrop. To keep things personal and laid-back, their favourite country music played in the background — a bit of Jordan Davis set the perfect tone for the afternoon. I can’t wait to photograph their wedding day after spending time with them in such a special spot - so close to where I personally grew up!
