Horses, a Dog and a Mirror Beach at Pourerere
Two horses, one dog and a beach that turned into a mirror. Not a bad way to spend a weekday afternoon!
Libby & Lochie brought the whole crew down to Pourerere Beach for their couples session, along with a kind friend who helped out with the horses. The tide had left the sand glassy and still, so every step, every hoofprint and every bit of sky was reflected right back at us. And oh my goodness, I was in my absolute element.
Pourerere is right on my doorstep and I never get tired of it. It’s actually where I got engaged, so it holds a special place for me, and getting to share it with these two (and their four-legged family) was such a treat. We kept things relaxed, let the horses set the pace, and just soaked up a beach that felt like it was all ours.
